Our journeys as mothers are all unique so I loved speaking to other mums about their own challenges and successes doing the blend of motherhood and work.
I was particularly interested in how they navigated their wellbeing through it all too. This blog will round up those interviews with their top wellbeing tip so read on to get some tips and feel inspired by these incredible women.
Enjoy!
1. Against all odds, building an award-winning wellness brand
I was in awe of Rachel. When she discovered cancer cells in her ovaries, she went through a full hysterectomy and was forced into menopause, and all of this by the age of 30.
Her story is powerful and her brand even more. Frustrated by the lack of inclusion of women’s health in the supplements industry, she started Our Remedy and the normalising of health conversations.

2. Leaving the 9 to 5, going it alone to start your own business
Who’s dreamt about leaving their 9 to 5? Many of us I’m sure. I was excited to speak to Eisher who not only dreamt it but has done it.
An idea she had to start up her own private practice, Wellbeing of My Baby became a reality then she fell pregnant. Her story really captures the essence of going after what you want, and powering through with a toddler in tow.

3. Inspired by motherhood, starting a new role to support other mums
I felt privileged to speak to Isobel, my former antenatal teacher from Daisy Foundation (will be closing end of August 2023) about her journey towards retraining to become an antenatal teacher.
She has now left the profession so I was thrilled to speak to her and get her reflections on antenatal classes but also motherhood in general.

4. A passion for food, building an Instagram account dedicated to vegetarian cuisine
Talk about having a passion and turning it into an incredible platform to share with the world. This is what Nikita has done on theveggietrotter.mama.
She shares gorgeous pictures of food- vegetarian and vegan dishes – from her travels. When she became a mum, things did change and now she enjoys blending content with her little one’s culinary adventures.
